Daniel is an award-winning comedian and writer from London. His easy-going delivery and sharp jokes have quickly established him as one of the most exciting new acts on the UK comedy circuit, whilst his comedy sketch videos have earned him a huge online following and millions of views. On screen, Daniel has performed on BBC One and BBC Three as part of the BBC New Comedy Awards.
On stage, he has endeared himself to audiences around the UK, provided tour support for Josh Widdicombe and Sofie Hagen, and garnered a host of accolades including a Writers’ Guild Award nomination, Winner of the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence and Finalist in the Chortle Student Comedy Awards. Whether it’s growing up gay, pop culture or politics, Daniel uses a light touch and a quick wit to find humour in unexpected places.

As well as stand-up, Daniel also writes plays, screenplays and musical theatre. He is co-writer of Fat Rascal Theatre with frequent collaborator, Robyn Grant. Their most recent projects include ‘Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch’, one of Underbelly Festival's 2022 Headline Shows, which was previously a sell-out hit at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019 and was named Theatre Weekly’s ‘Best Musical of the Fringe’. 'Unfortunate' earned Foxx & Grant a nomination for Best Musical Theatre Bookwriting at the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Awards 2020.
In a short space of time Daniel has become a regular at several of the UK's most prestigious comedy venues, performed at festivals including Latitude, Brainchild and Bristol Pride, and provided tour support for Josh Widdicombe and Sofie Hagen.
He has been seen on BBC One and BBC Three as a semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards 2021, won the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence, was a finalist in the Chortle Student Comedy Awards, a finalist for South Coast Comedian of the Year, and reached the semi-finals of the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year and SYTYF.
Daniel writes for stage and screen, specialising in comedies with a feminist / LGBT+ focus. He has received a number of awards and nominations, most recently being shortlisted for the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Award for Best Musical Theatre Bookwriting 2020. He is co-writer of Fat Rascal Theatre and one half of comedy team Foxx & Grant with frequent collaborator, Robyn Grant.
